Philip Rivers' Passing It On
Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and U-T San Diego sportswriter Kevin Acee are challenging Chargers fans to join in their campaign of “passing it on” to benefit families at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House.
Join the team and win through your giving! Recruit your friends and family to join you in “passing it on” to help families with hospitalized kids, like Stephen Russell (pictured above). Then commit to give anything from ten cents to $1 or more for every completed passing yard by Philip Rivers in the 2014 Chargers season.
As an added bonus, your donation will be matched to double its value! The Walter J. and Betty C. Zable Foundation will award up to $50,000 to match funds raised in this campaign.
Your donations help Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provide a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.
